7.16 - Love is Not This

It took a while for Teddy’s parents to accept that their only son was now a human and would die after only one lifetime... but they came around to the idea eventually.

After all, Teddy hasn’t felt this alive and happy since Uvie passed away. And even with her it was a different kind of happiness.

He even takes up cooking so that Paris will stop living on cereal and left over cake from the triplets’ birthday (of which there is still a LOT).

A few days later, Teddy feels the first of his wrinkles take hold.

Later that night, so does Paris. Although she’s considerably less pleased with the result.

Derrick doesn’t even get to witness his daughter’s birthday. Aolani had just come outside to beg grandpa for a bedtime story when the old man began to sparkle, and then rose into the air like Chris Simgel from TV!

Aolani is a smart boy. He knows this isn’t a magic trick. This is real, and grandpa isn’t trying to do it. He’s dying.

Paris can’t believe how hard she’s taking this. Its just Derrick! He’s not her dad he was just... just there for her when she really needed him.

As always, Teddy is there for her when she needs him too. Except this time she’s comforting him as well. Derrick may have made some bad decisions in his life, but when they really needed him he gave up his entire lifestyle just to help them raise the triplets after Uvie’s death, and didn’t complain about it once.

Aurora is a sensitive little bugger, and grandpa’s death hits her the hardest. She knows Derrick wasn’t really her grandpa, not like he’s Briar’s, but she loved him all the same.

She’s really sad that Briar won’t even get to meet the grandpa who loved him so much.

Briar can’t understand why Rora’s face is all wet and sticky, but he never says no to hugs.

Just like he doesn’t complain when momma picks him up just to have him close while she cleans up the house. She looks a bit different as a result of her midlife crisis fears, but she’s still momma.

Despite being human, Teddy is still an incubus, and before long he feels the familiar weakness that comes from too long out of bed. It sucks, but he knows how to fix it... shame the first girl who catches his interest after Uvie’s death ends up being Paris’ cousin Elvira.

Elvira wants to be a rockstar just like her parents, Maddie and Ryan Sabo-Crist. She’s also dating Eli Sabo-von Hagen (Son of Rochelle and Santiago), but Teddy’s convinced her to dump him and join team Teddy. Which she does. Happily.

But then they go to a movie and screw in the back room and Teddy feels a guilt in the pit of his stomach worse than anything he’s ever felt before. He breaks up with her after only a day.

... And then he meets Cecilia McKinley-Smith.

And... and um...

He really shouldn’t have gone home with her but...

Yeah. He’s goanna regret this in the morning.

While Teddy is out doing whomever, Briar’s birthday arrives.

You goatta admit... he’s adorable.

And now that her son is finally old enough to travel, Paris has another trip in mind. Perhaps its time she made the journey to the fae world. She does miss her mother after all, and it would do Briar some good to learn about his roots. They’ll leave in the morning.

R.I.P. Derrick

Oh my goooooosh Briar why can't you just be a YA already? X_X I have never wanted to cheat so bad to age someone up. But I will resist... at least as far as you guys know I will resist.

Okay so scroll back up to Cecilia McKinley-Smith up there. I'd been following her around in her child and teen years cause SP gave her my name. As SOON as she became a YA I sent Teddy over to where she was getting a job and then waited for her to come out of the Business building. I didn't even touch her in CAS. I just... I mean... thank you SP genetics for giving the best looking sim in town my name <3 Just thank you. She's a descendant of Glimmer (Sabo) and Angelo (Dennis), Chad (Starr) and Mar-mar (Another Dennis), and of course Ana McKinley.

Wow. Beautiful things happen when legacies intermix.

Next chapter takes place in the fae world... also known as Avalon by Bakasims. I'll post a download link next chapter once I've spammed you with enough eye candy of the island to make you fall in love.

7.15 - One of a Kind

Teddy’s babies are growing up today.

He can’t believe how big they are already.

He just wishes their mother was here to see this.

Motherhood suits Paris well. She simply can’t get enough of her bouncing baby boy.

Of course she’s still Paris, so when she’s locked up in her laboratory grandpa Derrick dotes on his only grandchild with gusto.

Finally the family gathers for the triplets’ birthday.

Aurora.

Aviva.

Aaaand Aolani (Who I now want to call Tom Sawyer)

Oh, and little Briar ages as well, of course.

Despite the initial disappointment of not having a fourth child, Teddy has gotten over it well. So what if Briar isn’t his biological child? Honestly that would have complicated things between him and Paris even more, so its better this way.

Although he does wish Paris would come clean about where the baby came from. She didn’t mention any boys from her trip, and even Neptune is keeping mum about the whole thing. Friggin fae never tell him anything.

Still, Briar is the only born virtuoso in the house, and as a master of the guitar Teddy takes it upon himself to train the boy’s musical bones. After all, none of Teddy’s biological kids took after him in regards to musical talent.

No, two of his children are more artistic than musical.

And the last one is more into developing her writing than any other kind of skill or art form.

Aurora really is Teddy’s pride and joy though. She’s brilliant, kind, and looks so much like her mother that it hurts.

Not to say Teddy doesn’t love the other triplets as well. They each have their own... uniqueness.

And Aviva just isn’t the best people person.

No, Aurora’s the only one who makes an effort to hang out with baby Briar.

Briar REALLY sucks at peek-a-boo. He’s too impatient and always peeks early.

But Aurora takes her time to teach him the game, and eventually he gets it.
And just like that, they’re best friends.

Paris meanwhile has already finished and patented her real cure to vampirism. And since, she’s gone back to stargazing. It calms her, and gets her away from the havoc of having such a full house.

Many have already taken her cure, and she’s a household name in most big cities. However only one vial of her original cure remains. The one that doesn’t reset your age, and this is the cure that Teddy asks for when he finally decides to become human.

One last sexy vampire pose for the ladies.

Ugh its gross. Couldn’t Paris have at least flavoured it or something?

With that, Theodore Starr is no longer immortal. And he couldn’t be happier about it.

---

<3 Human Teddy is just as hot as vampire Teddy to be perfectly honest.

I swear the boys in this house as SO freaking CUTE! Both Aolani and Briar are just... <3 I can't get enough of them.

7.14 - Thorned Roses

Derrick can’t say he isn't happy that his little girl is back home, but he just wishes she’d come home a lot earlier. Teddy’s been almost catatonic lately and its hard to take care of vampiric triplets all on his own, especially with his old bones aching as much as they do.

Paris just feels as if she’s still in a haze, but now that she knows what Teddy is she can understand why he’s been so sick since she left.

And of course there’s one very easy way to fix him. But he won’t like it, and neither will she.

So a disguise may be in order. The glamour isn’t perfect. Her face is still her own, but she’s sure Teddy will be too distracted to even notice.

And she’s right. It’s been weeks since he last woo-hood with anyone and he’s too weak to even see straight right now. All he sees is his dead wife standing in front of him.

Paris just really hopes Teddy will be able to forgive her once he’s regained his strength and realizes what she’s done.

He falls asleep after their romp in the sheets and Paris tries to leave quietly. She gets as far as the living room before the headache hits.

It feels as if her brain is exploding in her head and the pain is immense. Thankfully she’s unconscious before she even hits the ground.

Teddy was just about the last person she wanted to see when she woke up who knows how long later. But then again she’s thankful she woke up at all considering the pain she was in earlier.

“I dunno if I should call you a moron for putting yourself at risk like that or thank you for saving my life.” He mutters, not looking at her. “Neptune came by after you fell unconscious. He uh... he told me everything. About what I am and what I can do to people if I'm not careful.”

“And how are you taking that?”
He shrugs. “I’d sort of put it together myself while you were gone. Uvie’s ghost came by one night, told me not to blame myself for what happened to her. I thought that it was just because my dad had been a triplet and we had triplets but then I started thinking about the way she’d been acting before she died, and how much stronger I felt during that entire time. I can’t say that I didn’t feel guilty when I finally understood everything, but Neptune’s promised to help me gain control, so that I don’t hurt anyone ever again. And that helps a little.”

“Why is Neptune helping you?” She asks after a moment, mind still a little fuzzy from being asleep for so long. “And how long was I out? I feel so weird.”
“Oh thats just from the pregnancy.” Teddy mutters. “I guess thats why Neptune’s helping me control myself.”

Wait. Pregnancy?

Well... she did want a child. Just not by her best friend. Why hadn’t she been smart enough to use a bit of protection when she’d seduced Teddy? Stupid!

Teddy is a lot more excited about the baby than she is.

Whatever. At least her child will grow up in a happy family environment with so many siblings and play mates. She’s thankful for that much, and it does bring a little jolt of happiness to her, knowing that she’s actually going to be a mother after so long.

Oh right, the toddlers are still triplets, just so ya’ll know. And yes, they’re still adorable.

Its early morning only a few days later when Paris feels the first contractions beginning. Its bad, but its not as bad as she thought the pain would be.

Thankfully she gets through the labour alive and well, and can’t stop smiling the moment she sees her new little boy, Briar. He isn’t a vampire, and judging by the little tufts of green hair on his head, he certainly isn’t Teddy’s child. Unfortunately Paris can't decide if things are better or worse this way.

Just HOW Ginger conceived Briar will be explained later but don't expect any sort of epic twist or anything. Basically it just boils down to one word: Magic. (Or chicks with *icks as I told Jessica but I honestly just said that to make her squirm xD)

I am SO disappointed Briar didn't come out green *pout*. I mean,  I REALLY wanted a green heir for my next roll. Meh, either way my story will work out. Its just a bit disappointing to me that I'll have to throw out all my "green giant" jokes.

FYI: The pics of Paris seducing Teddy are just of her in Uvie's hair and a copy of her sleepwear. I never realized just how cute she is. Especially her nose. <3
